Course fees and payment methods
Our flexible course packages offer a range of pricing options. You can pay the course fee in a single instalment by invoice, opt for an Epic invoice payable in several monthly instalments (1–4), or split the payment into smaller amounts using Klarna’s flexible payment options!
We have over a hundred branches across Finland. If you move to a different town during the course, or if you wish to continue the course at one of our other branches for any other reason, that’s no problem at all! Please do get in touch with our customer service team.
Course content and structure
Once you’ve purchased the package, you’ll receive a comprehensive course guide. Here’s a brief overview of the course:
1. Register for the course
Sign up for your chosen course
2. Theoretical studies
Complete the 4-hour EAS theory module included in the course via the Streamways app (if you already hold a driving licence, you do not need to complete the EAS theory module).
3. Self-study
The app contains a wealth of self-study material for the course, which will help you prepare for the theory test.
4. Theory test
You can sit the theory test once you have completed the compulsory EAS theory lessons for the course and studied for the theory test using the self-study materials.
6. Driving lessons
Once you have passed the theory test, you are ready for your driving lessons. The driving lessons included in the course can be booked directly via the Streamways app.
7. Handling and driving test
Your driving instructor will also discuss with you, during your driving lessons, how to take the manoeuvring test and the road test, and will book an appointment for you to take the manoeuvring test.
If you do not pass the practical test, go through the feedback you received on the test with your teacher so that you are aware of the areas you still need to practise before retaking the test.
8. Congratulations on getting your driving licence!
If you pass your driving test, you’ll be able to drive straight away!
You will be issued with a certificate confirming that you have passed your driving test, which entitles you to drive in Finland for six months.
Your driving licence will be sent to your home by post.
According to your schedule
You can complete all the theory lessons for the motorcycle course online, using a computer or your phone, wherever you are. This means you don’t need to visit the driving school or fit the theory lessons into your own schedule.
You can complete the online theory modules mainly on weekdays, from Monday to Thursday between 8 am and 10 pm, and from Friday to Saturday between 8 am and 4 pm. You can complete the theory lessons at your own pace, either by doing several hours at a time or in smaller chunks.
In addition to the online theory lessons included in the course, you’ll have access to self-study materials containing thousands of exercises, as well as a theory test practice programme that will help you prepare effectively for the theory test.

You can enrol directly on our website by selecting your nearest branch and a suitable course package. When you purchase the course, you will create your own login details for the Streamways learning app. After enrolment, you will receive comprehensive instructions on how to complete the course.
When can I start driving school?
You can start driving lessons at the age of 16 if you are applying for a car driving licence (B). For other driving licence categories, you can start 6 months before the required age.
With a special permit, you can obtain a driving licence at the age of 17 if specific conditions are met. The course entitlement is valid for 12 months from the date of enrolment.
Can I upgrade my course package after enrolment?
All course packages can be freely customised with additional services.

Online theory lessons are taken at your own pace under the remote supervision of a driving instructor during the control room’s opening hours. Virtual lessons are held in a Teams classroom under the guidance of an instructor.
Can I cancel the course?
You can cancel your course registration free of charge within 14 days of signing up, provided you have not started using the learning environment.

🚗 Driving lessons, branches and tests
How do I book a driving lesson?
Driving lessons are booked directly via the Streamways app.
You can book simulator lessons directly in the calendar; bookings for lessons in a real car are sent via the app to the instructor as a proposal, which they will either accept or, if necessary, suggest an alternative time.
Where can I find my driving instructor’s details?
Log in to the Streamways app with your credentials and you’ll find your instructor’s details in your profile. Can’t see your instructor’s details? If your instructor’s details aren’t visible in your learning environment, our customer service team can help – please get in touch.
How do I book a theory test?
The theory test is booked via Ajovarma. When you register, you will receive detailed instructions on when to book the test. Please remember that your driving licence application must be submitted and approved before the theory test. Where can I find my EAS certificate?
The certificate confirming completion of the EAS training can be downloaded from your learning app 🙂
What should I do if I fall ill on the day of my driving lesson?
If it is a driving lesson with an instructor, please inform your instructor directly. If it is a simulator lesson, please notify our simulator control room on 0105245480 or our customer service team.
Please submit a sick note via the Turvaposti service within 14 days. You can find instructions on how to submit the certificate on the customer service page.
What if I fail the theory test or the practical test?
You can book a new date for the theory test. You can retake the theory test as many times as necessary. A passed theory test is valid for one year.
If you fail the practical test, discuss the next steps with your driving instructor (possible additional driving lessons / retake).
What is the driving test like?
The driving test (B) is held at an Ajovarma test centre and lasts approximately 60 minutes. The test assesses your driving skills in traffic, as well as possibly a parking and vehicle inspection task.
Can I change instructors?
Yes, you can. Please contact our customer service team and we will arrange the change. ❤️
Can I change centres partway through the course?
Yes, you can continue the course at a different location if a similar course is available there.
If the course fee at the new location is higher than at the original location, we will charge the difference when you change locations. We’re happy to help with the arrangements – please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
I didn’t manage to complete the course within the set time limit – can I get a refund?
We understand that life circumstances can change. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund for unused parts of the course, as the right to use the service is valid for 12 months from the date of enrolment, in accordance with our terms and conditions.
If you haven’t finished your course, we recommend contacting our customer service team so we can work out together how we can help you continue with the course. ❤️

I've forgotten my password – how do I get a new one?
You can change your password on the homepage here: https://app.streamways.com/. Select “Forgotten your password?” and set a new password. You can then log in as normal using your new password.
If you use Webauto, please contact our customer service team and we will change your password for you.

Can I pay in instalments?
Yes – with Klarna’s payment options, you can split the course fee into monthly instalments of your choice, or you can opt for an Epic invoice in several instalments.
