Passenger car courses
You will need a category B licence to drive a passenger car or van. As a rule, a B-licence can be completed at the earliest at the age of 18.
It is also possible to drive a driving licence for a passenger car at the age of 17 with an age exemption permit, provided that the special conditions are met. Read more.

Driver instruction
Passenger car driver training always includes at least 18 hours of instruction (driving lessons + theory lessons). In addition, you must complete eas theory studies (training of the first driver), unless you already have another category of cards, e.g. driver's license for a moped.
We have developed effective teaching packages of different sizes for B courses, from which you can choose the most suitable option for you. All our course packages include at least the minimum education required by the card category (including risk identification training) and the use of a driving school vehicle in the first driving test.

Safe drivers for future transport
The learning path of each of our course packages has been developed in a customer-oriented manner and with effective driving simulator training, as well as under the guidance of our experienced traffic teachers, you are effectively preparing for the driving test and real-life situations.
It is also possible to complete a driving licence with a teaching permit, or by combining driving school and teaching licence teaching. Please note that when completing a driving licence, the first driver's licence (EAS) training and risk identification training must be completed at the driving school.
Functional and efficient
We are constantly investing in ensuring that our customers' driving school path proceeds smoothly and customer-orientedly, from registration to the approved driving test.
You can start theoretical studies online as soon as your registration has been confirmed and driving lessons are agreed flexibly and promptly with your driving instructor. In connection with the enrolment, you will be appointed your own driving instructor, who will take care of you throughout the learning path.
You can also contact our customer service at any time if you do not know what to do next, how to proceed with the course, you want to change your teacher, postpone the due date of the invoice, or any matter related to the driving school is a matter of concern. Our customer service will serve you by phone, as well as in the chat room on the website every day of the week, including on weekends!
According to your schedule
You can complete all the theory studies of the passenger car course online on a computer, or by phone anywhere. So you don't have to come to the driving school, or you don't have to fit theory lessons into your own calendar.
Online theory studies can be completed mainly on weekdays from Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 22:00 and from Friday to Saturday between 08:00 and 16:00. You can complete theory lessons at your own pace, either for several hours at a time, or in small parts.
In addition to the online theory lessons included in the course, you will have access to a self-study material with thousands of assignments, as well as a theory test training program that allows you to effectively prepare for the theory test.
Driving licence permit
In order to obtain a driving licence, you must have a valid driving licence permit. The licence is valid for three years and can be issued to a 16-year-old at the earliest. You can apply for a driving licence authorisation electronically in Traficom's service or from ajovarma's office.
Simulator teaching
A study conducted at the University of Turku has found that simulator teaching is even higher quality than formal driving instruction when the measure is to pass a driving test.
The best result for passing the driving test and learning safe driving skills has been proven to be achieved by combining simulator training with the most suitable amount of driving with the teacher.
All simulator driving lessons are supervised by the traffic teacher remotely. With the simulator, the studies begin with processing exercises and proceed according to your personal curriculum. With the simulator, you can practice challenging situations in a safe environment before moving into traffic, and you can practice by repeating difficult situations several times. You can book the simulator driving lessons included in the course directly from the student system at the times that suit you (including evenings and weekends).

Course price and payment methods
Our versatile course packages offer options at different prices. You can complete the course fee by invoice in one section, select an Epic invoice in several monthly instalments (1-6), or break the fee into smaller instalments with Klarna's versatile payment options!
Driver's examination
The driver's examination is divided into a theory and driving test. The purpose of the tests is to ensure that you have learned and internalised the issues that have been discussed in driver training, as well as to be able to apply them in traffic situations and to be able to act as a responsible driver in traffic.
You can take the theory test one month before you reach the age of 18.
In order to take the driving test, the theoretical knowledge examination must have been passed. You can take the driving test at the earliest at the age of 18.

Enrol in the course
After enrolment, you will receive an email to the student system, where you can start the theory studies of the course at any time.
Theoretical studies
If the course package you have selected includes additional theory lessons under the guidance of the teacher (remotely in the virtual classroom in finnish), after enrolment, you will receive instructions on how to participate in these classes by email, as well as a schedule from which you can choose the most suitable time to participate for you. Please note that additional theory classes are not mandatory and their course progress is not affected.
Self-instruction
In the student system you will find plenty of self-assessment assignments, level tests, theoretical knowledge exercise tests, and you will be able to familiarise yourself with the course's electronic textbook.
Theory test
Please note that the driving licence permit must be applied for before taking the theory test. You do not need an EAS or a diploma with you, the data is transferred electronically 🙂 from us

Simulator driving hours
All simulator lessons are supervised remotely by the traffic instructor and you can call the simulator control room for a teacher who will instruct you to move you forward in the exercises in all problems and questions.
Driving hours
The schedule of driving lessons and the starting point will be agreed with your teacher, unless you have agreed separately on the starting point, driving lessons will start at the driving school office.
If you feel that you need more training before the driving test, or if you want to train more than certain things, you can buy additional driving lessons in addition to the driving lessons included in the course. You can find out more about additional driving lessons from your teacher.
Driving test
The duration of the driving test is 60 minutes, which consists of an initial conversation, driving in traffic, and a final discussion.
If you have chosen epic invoice as the payment method for the course at the time of registration - all invoices must have been completed before the driving test. It is also possible to change the payment method to Klarna, in which case the course performance does not follow the payment schedule. Please contact our customer service if you wish to change the payment method for the course.
You will not pass the driving test, go through the feedback from the exam with your teacher so that you are aware of what things need to be practiced before the retake test.

You will receive a certificate of approval of the driver's examination, which gives you the right to drive in Finland for six months.
Your driver's license will be delivered to you by post.
Remember that developing as a driver does not end here, but continues throughout life.
